The entire trip chain plate is installed inside the machine eliminating the need for disassembly and reassembly that you might know from traditional large-scale chip conveyors. The chain plate had to be pulled out of the machine, disassembled in sections, and packaged into a container. This container was then shipped and the chain plate had to be reassembled in sections outside the machine, inserted into the machine, and installed - all of which was a cumbersome process.

Modular tension adjustment design

The tension adjustment design is modularized, making it easy to adjust the slackness of the chain plate. This design replaces the approach used by other brands, which involves direct adjustment using a long toothed strip. By avoiding the occasional overload during operation that can cause the toothed strip to deform, the modularized design ensures better durability. In addition, the fixed bracket of the tension adjustment seat strengthens the structural rigidity of the transmission end, resulting in a more stable operation of the chain plate.

A special steel reinforcement design of the folding joint (as shown in Figure A) and the entire base of the rear section after folding (as shown in Figure B) ensures that the body remains stable and prevents deformation caused by the weight of the front section during lifting and folding operations.

Due to the traditional design of large-scale chip conveyors, which often adopt segmented assembly of the body and chain plate, it is time-consuming and labor-intensive to disassemble and reassemble the main body of the chip conveyor, chain plates, drive chains, motors, and other components before shipping and packaging. Moreover, adjusting the tension of the conveyor chain plates highly depends on the technical experience of personnel. If exported overseas, it often requires technical personnel to go to the site for installation.
Our company has developed this folding chip conveyor, which only requires the installation of lifting equipment, flipping up the front section, locking it with flanges, positioning the tension module, and putting on the drive chain. After a test run and final tension adjustment and settings, the installation is complete. This is particularly beneficial for overseas customers, as it saves a lot of transportation and installation costs.
